Meet Michelle A. Gifford, D.D.S
Dr. Gifford’s interest in dentistry started at a very early age, allowing her to be accepted as a high school senior into a combined degree program starting at Le Moyne College and continuing at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a general practice residency at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. After several years of private practice experience, she purchased the practice of Dr. Arthur Elfenbein, and later moved the practice into her dream office, equipped with the latest technology.
Dr. Gifford is committed to learning the latest techniques for her patients through extensive participation in continuing education. She is currently a student at the renowned Kois Center for Dental Education, focusing on complex treatment planning and creating lifetime smiles for her patients. She also holds Mastership Certification within the World Clinical Laser Institute and offers pain-free laser dentistry for some procedures. She is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with gentle and comfortable dental experience.”
Additionally, Dr. Gifford is very active in the community. Currently she is on the boards of the Bainbridge Guilford Alumni Association and BGA Dollars for Scholars. She can also be found distributing toothbrushes to children on Halloween or at the Toys for Tots Christmas train stop.
Dr. Gifford is a lifelong resident of Bainbridge and is honored to provide exceptional dental care to a patient base that includes many family, friends, and neighbors. In her spare time, Dr. Gifford enjoys traveling, spending time with her nephews, maintaining her 1818 farmhouse, and watching NY Yankees baseball.
